Acquisitions are good ways of expanding their company’s expertise and talent base, and in this case probably even business operations.

I believe electrical engineer will be still relevant. Who will design the circuits to be printed out?

When the price goes down more, every device may be made through printer. The cost of making an electronic product will be substantially low. Will Electrical Engineering becomes a non-profession in the foreseeable future?

Good move. but this industry better watch LOC - lab on chip as more integrations heat up.

Certainly the future is near where we see more and more transparent printed electronics. This will create huge business in the future from simple greeting cards to giant hoardings.

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
