Domestic violence thus ruins families  high heels, creating communities of social instability.Environments in which the act is widely accepted typically exhibit apparent traits of chauvinism, lack of empathy and a  shoes high decline of moral values. It is not surprising then that people of such areas are mostly irritable, short-tempered, emotionally retarded amongst other  ghd for sale negative characteristics. Domestic violence has classically been portrayed to be present in middle and lower classes of economically developed countries and in virtually all  louboutins shoes strata of societies across the rest of the world.Accordingly, it is not unusual to have believed (and often still do) that 'the  heels for women rich don't cry', meaning that financially well off people don't suffer from the specific gender inequality. This is an interesting overview article about haptics. I had some discussion with an engineer attempting to come up with a new means of excitation to add haptic feedback to an automotive panel. It seems that many of the more intuitive methods have not only been developed but also patented. So a caution to all is that this article covers primarily haptics in mobile phone devices. If you look beyond that, the variety is very large, and the applications area is huge.

Hello priyeshthepoison. I'm with TI's communications department and I'm glad to hear you're interested in haptics! A good place for you to start would be in the touch screen applications forum on our technical support community, E2E (Engineer to Engineer). You can ask any questions there regarding haptics in general or any projects you're considering and they can help point you in the right direction. That forum is located at www.ti.com/touchforum-pr. Thanks!

hey....i m new to field of haptics...i want to learn about developing haptics which can replicate the touch of bricks, wood etc...i want to know how to develop such devices....can anyone provide me with some material...also how piezo actuators will help me in this...it will be a great help...

Thanks to all for your comments. Prabhakar_deosthali, I've got an answer from Eric for you regarding your question. "Electronic circuit failure because of vibration is definitely a problem, but solutions to that problem vary from device to device. Typically, the manufacturers themselves are the ones who design their devices and solutions with the intent of solving this issue, so your best bet is to ask each specific manufacturer." If you have any other questions, please let us know!

One quick to market application would be to provide different haptic feedback from different locations on a device. This would make it easy to identify different active areas on a device without looking. Different haptic feedback could also be provided to report the current state of the device (on/ off/ standby/ failed security code entry). When MEMS haptic transducers become economical and can produce a wide range of sensations in a small area, the really exciting tactile feedback for 3D immersion experiences will become possible. Movies will never be the same again.

Nice to learn about the technology behind the vibration on the touchscreen of our mobile phones. Now I could also co-relate the conceptual idea of harvesting electrical energy while typing on our mobiles/tablets as described in one of the recent articles: http://www.eetimes.com/electronics-news/4217342/Researchers-look-at-typing-as-power-source

Succinct briefing, would like to have seen more details on frequency range for typical application and tabulation comparing transducers in terms of energy consumption, vibration range and frequency of operation. BTW, the link for the driver, the one listed did not work for me. http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/drv8662.pdf
