it seems that ultra book chip set will use 12nm and 22 nm technology.

This high tech product for very low margin products will be difficult to market. We wish Intel has breakthorugh in this market.

Nice article, Dylan. Looks like you are making your love for Intel clear by saying, "He'll likely also look to sow seeds of doubt about the potential for ARM-based processors to take market share from Intel its core PC processor". LOL.

When I read about the Ultrabook concept from Intel it seems like they have merely taken the datasheet for the Apple MacBook Air and said, "Let's build something like this."

Intel needs a big move over the ARM products and hope they can pull this off after a slow entry with other releases over the last several years. Would prefer to have a low power solution with strong performance vs. the current product on the market. In addition, backing by a strong company (Intel) versus the splintered ARM companies to bring another leg of competition would be great for the consumer and business markets! Best of Luck Intel...make a big splash

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
