Irrespective of any thing we need to upgradde the quality of education continually. This only can create professionals in any field of work. Human tastes are different for every one like our faces shape color etc. good education opens up every individual's mind and catches to their most lovable talents of them.Once the student is made to catch to it then it is like sky is the limit and they achieve the best.So please conduct these kind of activities in all the universities around the world
Yep we have many engineering graduates, but not many good engineers! fresh graduates just don't want to get in the field as it is too tough and they can't be paid off! Managers and top rank executes who usually earn big money are all from sales and marketing, so one may think immediately - why don't I become a sales? So, that is the fate! We lack innovation, but who pay the people who may innovate?
I disagree. We already have lots of unemployed engineers. What we need from colleges today are more CEOs. From lips of business itself, good CEOs are so hard to find, they have to pay even the bad ones extraordinary bonuses and out-sized pay packages robbing the shareholders of precious equity. Even when a business does poorly, board members rarely want to offend the one CEO they've got.
Industry has been forced into recycling used CEOs like the recent HP move with Meg Wittman - there were not any fresh CEOs on the shelf...all stale. American business deserve a fresh supply of CEO's to end this debilitating CEO gap.
No NRC, what we really need in the USA are more CEOs to choose from, not more engineers. Obama should immediately start a special H1B visa program for bringing in badly needed CEOs until our colleges catch up with our national shortage. When we see CEO pay drop and match an engineers' yearly increase, all will be well again.
