100m USD is better than 20m USD that were announced (i think) for Stanford. I guess this center will be more comprehensive. "..the algorithms will not only sense that someone is in the kitchen but that the person is slicing ingredients for a particular recipe and whether the cuts are too thick for the recipe being used...", this is pretty cool in its content.

This is a new area where every gadget used by all living beings on the earth will have a microcontroller embedded and communicate over the internet. So every gadget will have artificial intelligence and guide the users in the best way possible. Lot of work need to be done to acheive this effectively. Intel is doing it and i welcome them.
