I'm surprised there is no comparison to an LTE device. Apple will probably hold their current smartphone market share for the next few quarters driven by upgrades from their loyal user population and I'm sure 4Q11 numbers will show a short term gain for Apple. However, LTE offerings are going drive additional smartphone market share gains for the Android crowd in 2012. If Apple does not release an LTE based iPhone before 3Q 2012, I expect they will end the year with lower market share.
The speakers themselves may not be of the highest quality... I've often had phones where sound is great through headphones, but muffled and awful through loudspeakers. I don't know a great deal about acoustics, but I can't imagine the chassis or form factor does much to help with speaker sound quality....
I sincerely believe the service on AT&T is getting better with the iPhone. My company made the iPhone the primary communications devise overall and even went as far to remove all our desk phones. We now have only the iphone running the Cisco app for business calls and our personal number is on the cellular network. They placed a iFusion docking stations at all our desk and I like this thing for It has the traditional handset. Overall I don’t experience any issues like the past and I really like the fact I’m not answering two phones anymore.
I wonder how they measured audio quality?
Specially with the headset. Audio quality can be affected by many different factors and so, the test methodology must be clearly defined.
And would be interesting to know which headset was used for Bluetooth audio check.
Is good to confirm though which carrier is more reliable.
