I'm surprised their existing racks are just 6.5 KW, since that's pretty low-density (running over 10 KW/rack has been pretty routine in HPC for ~5 years.)
it would be VERY interesting to know how their costs work out, given that they're not doing anything exotic in density. since they're going direct-to-ODM, one presumes that they're just cutting out the margin otherwise introduced by HP/Dell/IBM.
Well this was to come. The number of people using facebook are increasing on hourly basis and they enjoy it. Its an easy way to share you photos and video to friends and family across the world an dof course update minutes by minute status.. But I wonder how long facebook can go on. One day Engineering would have limitations or may be it would be an engineering challenge to be at speed with so many active users, handling so much data.
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
