I work in a building where floors 1-8 are parking, and floor 9 consists of offices & labs. Why does everyone who parks on floors 1-7 take the elevator to the 9th floor, but those who park on floor 8 feel compelled to walk up the stairs? Are they trying to prove their fitness and/or lack of laziness? (It's not working) This magic threshold between 1 vs. 2-8 flights of stairs is quite puzzling. Me? I take the elevator from all of floors 1-8.

Why is it Lois Lane doesn't recognize Superman in the office when he's wearing a business suit and glasses, but a wife can spot her hubby trying to sneak back into the house in pitch darkness after a late night at the bar?
