re: Using clinical observation to facilitate medical device commercialization

I guess for medical devices, the market forces alone is not enough to tell which device would be easily commercialized. However, it begs the question: is it correct to commercialise the medical industry to a point where if a needed medical device is created but not enough people use it, it will be phased out of the market altogether? What of the people who truly need it, but are in such small numbers that do not justify mass production? Chris - http://americanvisitorinsurance.com

NO RATINGS
I have to help the poor clinicians manage ill fitting medical equipment after purchase; it's a huge challenge. Hopefully more manufacturers will use this system to identify and help solve the correct issues.

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems. Signal integrity sage Ransom Stephens will explain how PAM4 differs from NRZ and what to expect in design, measurement, and signal analysis.
