This will also help for the problem of looking at the display at an angle. When I try to tap the display while looking at it from an angle, I seem to miss the target. With one less layer of glass, it should get better.

Add-on touch screens have probability of liquid getting in the gap and spoil the touch function. I faced it and replacing the touch screen is an expensive as 40-50Euros. For smartphones, its about the 10% of the original cost. Hopefully, we find the integrated solution soon.

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
