I can see that the problem is that there is only two players in microprocessors, so they don't want to expose their share, just like the FPGAs. It would be good to still get the report for fab utilization and total market growth.
WSTS statistics on microprocessor chip sales varies from country to country. While Intel leads in the "CLONE" industry(chips cloned from IBM originals, in countries where APPLE is leading uses chips from TI(Texas Instruments). This reporting can be mere heresay without accurate data. I am glad that SIA is still committed in reporting "as-is" statistics.
