Sour grapes? The healthy price for which seamicro was acquired indicates that there were other bidders as well.

Its not necessary to be a cynic to note that Bryant's response was an emotional one, coming from fear. She does indeed damn AMD overmuch. A sign of her vulnerability to disruptive innovation.

CMU's C.MMP & CM* ? dating back to ~1978-9? might say it all ( or at least some of the ?IP story ). :-) When discreet multiprocessor combined memory i/o fabrics might have begun in earnest?.
