Hey EE Times. It's not like many of us here didn't tell you that the hype was way overblown, right? I'll repeat, though, that give me a Volt-like car, with a "reformer," or whatever they call it, to extract H2 from a hydrocarbon fuel, and a fuel cell, and a way downsized battery pack, and at least that would make an interesting vehicle. The Volt is a hybrid with a really big and heavy battery. Not very exciting.

I'm not sure I'd be using that cliche "pull the plug" in connection with a product such as the Volt--could it be a Freudian slip?
