I really hope for the comeback of RIM. I think its a great company and it provided many innovations in its time. It would be a shame to see it vanish. I think though... the current market trend is towards something more colorful and less serious. BlackBerry's seem so "enterprise" and business. This makes me realize that people are merging their personal side with their jobs. things like social networks and personalizing your phone is doing this. That is perhaps one of the reasons BlackBerry went down... their product is too "corporation" and after all, people are people. wouldn't you say?

To say that Andy Weir's The Martian is an exploration of math, Mars, and feces is a slight simplification. I doubt that the author would have any complaints, though.
