The longevity will certainly attract many medical and aerospace OEM's. But what is also required is the high number of GPIO's compared to the 20/30 GPIO's.

Wow, 50MHz CortexM0 may not sound attractive but I'm sure NXP ships more of these small micros than Intel's entire x86 line.
