Think of it this way- IBM puts human faces on their innovation which is good

Maybe the nice lady is not working out. It is like Intel using actors to promote technology. Use the guys to sell it.

Nothing wrong with that though. They show cars with humans by the side. This could be a new level of marketing.

It is a bit buried but the HW is here: Chassis: http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/flex/chassis/index.html Compute Node: http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/flex/compute-nodes/x86/index.html Top level web site location: http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/pureflex/enterprise/ Look at the virtual tour or datasheet

No offense to Rodney but perhaps IBM could borrow a concept from a car industry and put a nice lady in front of the pure system if they are concern of showing technology details...what's the point of that picture?...if we are to make building technology exciting for young people we have to present it in more inteersting way

Instead of showing an executive and a cabinet with a blue cover IBM could show us what is inside the box or at least how the front panel looks like...Kris

What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
