Good point -- it's always a lot easier to make a one-off ... fortunately I become bored after making the first one (of one of my many projects), so I never want to make another (grin)

The challenge of creating a 'touch-screen' wrappe around a punchbag is ingenious; it sounds much simpler than it is, which is of course the joy of engineering - you peel ever-more complex 'layers off the onion' until you get to the centre, then you reverse back out, designing and building the detailed implementation. Repeat until successful. Of course, if you then want to reproduce the solution in volume production, you have to open another can of worms...
