There are some interesting points in time in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them center to heart. There is some validity but I will take hold opinion until I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we want more! www.gazo2.info

Take a look at On-Semi's history of aquisition. They're very agressive about expansion. It's an eclectic list that includes some American companies but mostly it indicates that they are less concerned about location than they are about fit. And lest we forget that Pilsner was invented in the Czech Republic.

Good to see On expanding. Just wish they could do it in the US.

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems. Signal integrity sage Ransom Stephens will explain how PAM4 differs from NRZ and what to expect in design, measurement, and signal analysis.
