Does this mean that now the cell phones have several antennas instead of only one? Or this refers to the radio base antennas? Indeed it's an interesting topic, will be looking forward to the part 2.

I love the topic, very informative. Before i knew radio diversity in micro-wave systems as a way of only dealing with fading. But today the fading issue (multiple signals received/transmitted)is being used +vely in wireless technology and with various RF transmission topologies. Thanks and keep on informing us. Fran.
