Lecroy has been producing great products as compared to tektronix or agilent. Hopefully this acquisition will push it further.

LeCory has good product but it needs the great technology that Teledyne has developed. Tektronix and Agilent will see even more severe competition soon!

I wonder for how long this strange relationship will last? Lecroy is good as independent entity. I wish it could have been NI or RandS or similar. But why Teledyne?

I think this is positive for Lecroy, as the scope manufacturer now could reach Teledyne's customer base and would have the opportunity to expand its product portfolio to high speed, rugged & reliable instruments for Military applications, by leveraging Teledyne's expertise.
