No thanks. India is already specialized in fabric, blankets and cotton yarn products.

While the Government of India does this , it should also plan for the associated infrastructure required to set up such plants. This work has to start much earlier as without proper infrastructure availability no global company would come forward for this project

Glad to know that the Indian government has already got proposals from different market players. I hope they will take speedy decision on this rather than delaying the proposal because China has already taken the lead in semiconductor business.

It will be interesting to see which companies will come forward for this fab building. Is the government is going to provide any subsidies to these fabrication houses?

I recall an earlier news about the fab site (the states) but don't remember if that was finalized...any idea where this is going to be...Karnataka? or anywhere else? Hope to see no more scam around this again.

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems. Signal integrity sage Ransom Stephens will explain how PAM4 differs from NRZ and what to expect in design, measurement, and signal analysis.
