Yes they are doing well. IP market has very long lead time...Imagination is reaping the benefit of good work done 2000 to 2010 and shareholders' patience over the same period. I think they are continuing to do good work but ARM is going to make a massive effort to catch them up. ARM already has about one-sixth the unit shipments per time period.....will be interesting to try and get a check at the end of the year. ARM is expecting more than 100 million Mali units while I reckon Imagination could do more than 400 million IP units all told...not sure how many would be PowerVR

Can someone explain the graphic market and why imagination is doing so well. Is there design lower power? Is there a software ecosystem? I saw even Qualcomm licensed imagination? Was Qualcomm's graphic design not as good or was i agination needed to possible win apple business due to iOS software ecosystem?

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
