Cool stuff, I like the air fans and the receptionist cubicle they show in the main website visual portfolio, it looks like a small cockpit/control room. I assume at those prices, the model secretary is included! ... LoL

Just come back from a week out of the office, don't know whether anyone will ever read this, but... There was an interesting programme on BBC TV in the UK last night about 747 maintainence. However, the stuff this desk is made out of is basically scrap, so if the desk is expensive it's because it's designer...

I'd love to have an ejection seat as my office chair. Even better, equip a conference room with them - especially if it was still functional. Whenever someone was droning on, getting too "pointy haired" or just annoying, they could be punched out of the building. If everybody was being annoying or if I were at risk of succumbing to PowerPoint poisoning, I could just punch out and escape the meeting.

I haven't changed my opinion on this. In fact, I'm thinking about a kickstarter for the Martin-Baker conference room anti-PowerPoint ejection system.

Drones are, in essence, flying autonomous vehicles. Pros and cons surrounding drones today might well foreshadow the debate over the development of self-driving cars. In the context of a strongly regulated aviation industry, "self-flying" drones pose a fresh challenge. How safe is it to fly drones in different environments? Should drones be required for visual line of sight – as are piloted airplanes? Join EE Times' Junko Yoshida as she moderates a panel of drone experts.
