thank you @docdivakar, yes, the market is crowded but has large projected growth rate so it is worthile to try to increase your market share...TI has also impressive MEMs capabilities, why didn't that work our for them in this sector? Kris

@iniewski: isn't power electronics already saturated with many players? ST seems to have done better than TI because of success in MEMS in the recent quarters. MP Divakar

Interesting to see that wireless is down (thanks to failed Ericsson venture) power electronics is up. I think this is where STM should go, have more than Moore business...Kris
