Hmm, nice idea and obviously built to last but it assumes that the recipient will even think to try and find a way to read these gadgets. Still, once they open the doors it could be a great case of "told you so".
Incidentally I not only have some 8 tracks but a machine that records them as well! Many years ago I used it as a jingle player for student radio, though cue-ing tracks was fun!
