HyperCloud HCDIMM memory is 100% compliant with the DDR3 JEDEC memory specification. Therefore, the software does NOT need to manage the memory any differently. The application software will now be able to utilize the maximum memory at maximum speeds (3DPC 1333). Does the software need to manage memory differently using this approach? If the software needs to be rewritten it seems like this is a difficult sell.
