I guess Samsung can hope for some concessions from Jury, the next time they get sued in CA.

A good concession by the California state for Samsung Korea. These kind of concessions are very good motivation for world wide investments in to USA. I feel that this concession or more be extended to USA based manufacturers also.

Good question. The official statement from the state of California does not say. The story from the Silicon Valley Business Journal story says Samsung intends to expand the facility within the next two years: http://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/blog/2012/08/samsung-to-expand-in-san-jose-signs.html

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
