That's because upper management benefits from the greatest double standard in history. Good results are attributable solely to fantastic management. Poor results are attributable solely to the stupid engineers screwing it up. Therefore, upper management always deserves a huge bonus!

As the CEO, and his bonus, actually really big despite the poor results of the company (STM and ST-ericsson), are confirmed and approved by a number of commetee (board,Exec commetee corporate governange commetee.....) and finally approved by the investors, it seems that we miss something in the whole picture...... Last note: does Bozzotti have a strategy?

The balance changed few years ago FraAmelia. In practice, ST is mainly a French company now.

The others are all french. Rumour is that Lambinet was in disagreement with Bozotti on the strategy. Looking at STM results since Bozotti took the CEO Job, i am sure there was a lot to disagree with!

well, apart the CEO, all the other names of ExVP involved in this news sound not italian. Is ST still a French-Italian company?.....
