I agree. You make all the good points here. TD-LTE will be the next battleground in 2013; and both Qualcomm and Marvell are already gunning for the multi-mode version, as that's China Mobile's requrement.

Exactly. I expect the battle among the Chinese fabless companies to heat up further. Consolidation is inevitable.

Turn-key solution is the only way for chip vendor to survive in phone market. Chinese companies surely has the advantages with better cost structure.
