Custom diagnosis and treatment is the way modern medecine is heading and ICT is playing a major role in this already. I think we will one day have micro and nano agents embedded in our bodies which can be programmed adaptively to fight off emerging diseases. The equivalent of going to a doctor would be a simple matter of scanning one's body to download the latest anti-illness programme :-)
