Seeing this, in part, inspired me to re-watch the three LOTR movies. I have a lot of respect for companies that can be creative like this. Why not? It'll certainly make people more likely to watch the video. All of the necessary information is there. The only downside is that it seems a lot longer than a standard safety video. On the other hand, I wouldn't complain.

GREAT video, however I can't help wondering about the reactions of anyone who has not read / seen LOTR (there must be a couple around...) Would love to be sitting near one when it comes on..... Then again, if it leads said persons to read the book or see the movie.....job done!

I like it. It does keep you watching just to see what character shows up next. Well done New Zealand.
