all the japanese folks 'have similar tastes as prince whales in cars' ie they faovr RR or Bently, but they have to drive a low-end honda fit :(

The white box market is exciting and mysterious at the same time. As gasdfnq mentioned, one tablet design can be turned into products bearing a countless number of brands. Figuring out the numbers is tough for many market research firms.

i don't agree, i think Junko did great job to research China industry and market. your list is just part of brands, they came from Shanzhai, but there are more output we have never known coz they are labeled with many many brands exported. we can find some in X-cargo

Shanzai literally means built in a hut deep in the mountain. Sounds pretty ugly, but most of Shanzai (smart) phones do have label, only that we have not heard of it in the west.
