they are talking nano scale production and so all this will be encased in a [flexable] package, perhaps University of Pennsylvania should take their work over to the UK plasics imitatives to get products based on this into commercial role to role production etc sooner rather than later. http://www.plusplasticelectronics.com/consumerelectronics/uk-offers-best-support-for-plastic-electronics-41324.aspx UK offers best support for plastic electronics Sara Ver-Bruggen - 16 Nov 2011 http://www.stfc.ac.uk/News+and+Events/5194.aspx Miniaturising electronics to the nanoscale http://source.theengineer.co.uk/materials-and-chemicals/plastic-microstructures-with-nanoscale-features-are-fabricated-at-greater-speed/2009271.article Plastic microstructures with nanoscale features are fabricated at greater speed March 2012 etc

NEXT UPCOMING BROADCAST
In conjunction with unveiling of EE Timesí Silicon 60 list, journalist & Silicon 60 researcher Peter Clarke hosts a conversation on startups in the electronics industry. One of Silicon Valley's great contributions to the world has been the demonstration of how the application of entrepreneurship and venture capital to electronics and semiconductor hardware can create wealth with developments in semiconductors, displays, design automation, MEMS and across the breadth of hardware developments. But in recent years concerns have been raised that traditional venture capital has turned its back on hardware-related startups in favor of software and Internet applications and services. Panelists from incubators join Peter Clarke in debate.
