Yep... Microsoft is just so super good... The ZUNE is selling millions, iPods dont exist, and plays-for-sure rules the roost. ANd of course MS ownes the world market in tablets... Yep. MS wins and Apple loses. Hey Windows RT will just be the thing to buy. Have you got yours yet.. I mean a tablet that jumps back to the windows 7 interface then surface, then 7, then surface... Its just so exciting... Well, at least according to the tech writers. Just a thought, but I see Apple being around for a while longer... en

"(such as taking out Flash, Java, google maps etc) and greediness." I think you are reading the wrong anal...yst blogs.. Google maps is back and better than ever and you still can use Apple maps. Flash died its own death. It just could not deliver a version that would run on flash mobile with out killing the battery and processor.

Its just market share. NOT profit. Apple is still making over 70% of all the profit in the smart phone market. Samsung is pushing sales to look good, not make money. Just a thought.

Mac vs PC all over again, with the same ending too. Closed systems rarely thrive for more than a decade in a consumer driven market. The iEverytging days are numbered.

Yeah, I used to Admire Apple products for their innovation and novelty (I think it's called Jobs Era) but in the recent past I started hating it's closed loop system (such as taking out Flash, Java, google maps etc) and greediness. Ofcourse we are engineers but often driven by ethics and morals to benefit ourselves by benefiting our customers. In Indian mythology "greediness" considered as an evil (one of the five evils), which ultimately leads to ones failure. I am sure Apple would realize the fact very soon.

Apple needs to think harder in order to fight against the Android ecosystem. I hope they can come up with good and much more advanced innovation on both the cosmetic and features (both hardware and software) in order to keep its dominance in the market. I hope Apple can still be heard after 5 years.

Apple is still lucky the rumors about the 100USD Nexus tablet didn't pan out. That would have hurt badly.
