I would like to get some idea of reliabilities etc.

I agree it's odd but the paper presents that way. Maybe the TLC reliability is as expected. Still, didn't even get any ECC assurance. I assume there will be or this is for really error-tolerant products. The FG interference curve was also presented ominously enough.

resistion, can you elaborate further on that? It would seem to be an odd thing to question the product reliability at a conference while released the product at the same time.

Well, the takeaway message from Micron's paper seems to be don't do TLC at 20 nm and don't scale any lower.

Its 128Gbit ie 16Gbyte Too less to fit in my data .. I probably have 50GB of Songs/Videos alone.

So they seek to overtake SanDisk 19 nm 128 Gb using TLC. This year will 16 nm happen?

iniewski, apparently you and I have very different data collections. I recently had to switch from a 1.5 Terabyte hard drive for backup to a 3.0 Terabyte hard drive because my data wouldn't fit on the 1.5 Terabyte drive.

Amazing, everything you own digitally can be stored on one chip (unless you are hording more bits than you will ever use)...When do we expect to see 1 Terabit memory?
