The Server market, must be closed down, had to dismantle most of the telecommunications room, in the future every PC is Server.

MIPs based servers - I remember that died in the late 80s. How much traction they will see in the market is to be seen given the challenges of getting the army of ecosystem developers to drop what they are doing and support another new MIPS ISA.

If he starts selling a lot of servers to China government departments and eventually commercial data centers like Baidu he could do quite well.

As of 2010, GlobalFoundries and TSMC already cancelled 32 nm going directly to 28 nm instead (at least in naming). So the 32 nm Godson is probably made by Samsung if after 2010. http://news.softpedia.com/news/Globalfoundries-32nm-Bulk-Process-Canceled-139063.shtml Samsung still offers 32 nm today: http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/foundry/process-technology/32-28nm

NEXT UPCOMING BROADCAST
In conjunction with unveiling of EE Times’ Silicon 60 list, journalist & Silicon 60 researcher Peter Clarke hosts a conversation on startups in the electronics industry. One of Silicon Valley's great contributions to the world has been the demonstration of how the application of entrepreneurship and venture capital to electronics and semiconductor hardware can create wealth with developments in semiconductors, displays, design automation, MEMS and across the breadth of hardware developments. But in recent years concerns have been raised that traditional venture capital has turned its back on hardware-related startups in favor of software and Internet applications and services. Panelists from incubators join Peter Clarke in debate.
