Brian, thanks for this interview with Dr. Bose, as many of his impressions going from a gigantic organization, to a big (EDA) one and now a startup mirror thoughts that have gone through my mind over the past ten years (minus six weeks!). These days, corporate jobs are no less stable than those in a startup or SME, and those feelings of security that we had in larger organizations really turned out to be an illusion after things changed.
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
