Many times in my long carrier I encountered the phrase "... oh, just one way transmission should be enough!" only to find that one also needs to pause, to put to sleep, to wake up, to query, to change modes, etc., the "transmit only" device. I don't believe there is such thing as a one-direction communication only! I'll be glad to hear about such devices.
