Cypress acquired Ramtron and this is a chence for promotion, there should be a FRAM memory embedded on the board for the needs of non-volatile RAM for sudden logs.

PSoC is an interesting device. It has both programable digital and analog. They seem to have moved away from their custom core and 8051 to a CortexM0 - that is a good move.

I find it strange that Psoc4 does not seem to include USB interface.

It does. Go to http://investors.cypress.com/?source=header and click on "2012 President's Letter". The first page has a detailed block diagram of the PSoC4 which includes USB.

This is great news from Cypress. I hope their PSCO 4 prices are reasonable. Unlike the PSOC 3 and PSOC 5
