It cheers me up in the morning to select the "shirt of the day"... I ordered some from Amazon to carry me through Design West -- there's an example in the following blog: http://eetimes.com/electronics-blogs/other/4412966/Video--Propeller-beanies-put-Design-West-in-a-spin?Ecosystem=microcontroller-mcu

On the bright site -- it's definitely spurred me to action with regard to going through my clothes and giving a bunch of stuff away to the local Goodwill store

The trouble is that if I went into any store here on the mainland and said "do you have an Aloha shirt?" I would get a funny look ... even funnier than the looks I already get :-)

## I wouldn't be caught dead in a Hawaiian shirt... It does take a certain "panache" to carry one off... ## Besides, they only come in sizes too large for me... Now you're just being cruel (grin)

Had the same thing happen in two closets (minus the Hawaiian shirts). Definitely wakes you up. In our case, it was structurally unsound closet rod mounting technique from the original builders.

Just to set things straight, in Hawaii (where I lived for 4 years) Hawaiian shirts are referred to as "Aloha shirts"...

Maybe something like "Given enough Hawaiian shirts, even an elephant will crumble to the ground."

When my parents went to Hawaii, they brought me and my three brothers back Hawaiian shirts. I think my sister got a Hawaiian dress. So a few years later when we took the car trip from Seattle to Disneyland, we all were told to bring our Hawaiian shirts so that when us kids were loose in Disneyland, our parents could easily spot us! Yep, a Hawaiian shirt makes a good locating device and does not require a battery. That's the only Hawaiian shirt I've ever owned, but the above photo has me thinking my life may be lacking something... However, what I really think Max the Magnificent needs to do is to piece together some of these seemingly unrelated recent events and find the true meaning in them. So, for example, all the whisks you found in the drawer the other day...and now your Hawaiian shirts come crashing down at night...this is a big hint. Tell Gina the Georgeous you have been analyzing and piecing together these puzzling events and that someone is trying to send you a messsage: whisks+Hawaii="whisk us to Hawaii". Yes, the deeper meaning, hence, is that you deserve a Hawaiian vacation. In fact if you look a little farther back, the ukelele...Hawaii beckons. And there you could give every shirt one last wearing before you donate them to Goodwill, plus you could pick up the newest fashions fresh from the islands as replacements.

It happened to me once. It's quite the rumble! I wouldn't be caught dead in a Hawaiian shirt, though. Besides, they only come in sizes too large for me....

What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
