Sounds like a great approach. Could they do the same thing for solar cell production? We keep hearing about breakthrough technologies - what is needed is a way to carry the designs through the manufacturing process and determine where (if anywhere) the issues are.

In addition to "the end-game is to reduce their cost per lumen," a better pay off is increasing the lumens/watt even at the current price roadmaps. I hope IMI accomplishes that! MP Divakar
