eewiz: "Why is Mitsubishi in the list? Didnt they sell all their semi operations to Renesas?"

Most of Mitsubishi Semi merged with Hitachi Semi to form Renesas Technology Corp. back in 2003, but Mitsubishi retained the industrial related products: http://www.mitsubishielectric.com/semiconductors/

Mitsubishi brought over to the joint venture their ASICs, ASSPs, micros, memories (minus the DRAM), and some discretes.

If the table shows just the revenue growth change this will mean that the revenue growth decline and not the revenue! The article is not written specific enough for me.

I don't understand the Table - Intel had 53.3 revenue last year. Even if this numbers are just the dip the Intel values cannot be correct

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems. Signal integrity sage Ransom Stephens will explain how PAM4 differs from NRZ and what to expect in design, measurement, and signal analysis.
