Patrick - re "I know I've been way too long in this field when I find it sometimes easier to explain complex life or work issues using a circuit diagram!"

I don't know that I've ever done that, but I certainly have wanted to enough times. That and wishing I could use some examples in C to explain something.

you, at least once in your life, tried to calculate the optimum speed for running under rain, in order to keep yourself as dry as possible. user's manuals are often unnecessary. Trial and error method is commonly prefered right after unboxing a new gadget. you store beer only in the lower part of a refrigerator.
