pros: a blessing to americans who can secure a decent post, they can buy electronics, or almost everything at dirty cheap prices, giving them much more value with their $s. a PC would cost $800 + back in 1999, now with $800 you can get a pc, a big screen TV, and a decent cellphone... cons: some lower skilled/gifted/blessed americans might starve/freeze to death due to lack of low level opportunity. chinese higher skilled folks has limited /underemployeed situation in home town...

japan,korea 's labor pool is too tiny, can't support a million empoyee company such as foxconn. india/africa folks are not industrious enough,

I start to have a feeling that china is THE heaven chosen place for mass production. (kinda like abrabs are the chosen place for oil reserves, so they can focus on prayers...) 1. population 1.3 billion... 2. industrious. 3. safe society, chinese folks are peace loving, mild. so they can get packed in high density, economic scale. 4. lacks higher level wisdom to get em into higher margin business (0 nand , 0 cpu) 5. u name it...
