@antedeluvian....I am on XP and IE8 and have all sorts of issues - the site is just very flaky, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.  I don't have Firefox but have Google Crome (which I don't otherwise like much), and that makes it much faster and more reliable.

Firstly it irritates me when I get asked to log in after viewing two articles. On MCC, APP etc you only need to log in when you want to post a rsponse.

And then to add insult to injury, I cannot log when I am using Internet Explorer 10. The response has varied over the past few days. Right now it completely ignores any click on "login" or the limit notice. I have to switch to Firefox to read EE Times.

Thanks for your post. We are working feverishly to find a way to expose "Max's Cool Beans" content once again. It's great to hear from so many of his fans.

Hi David - I have not experienced a small box when adding a comment or replying to one. Are you sure you're wearing your reading glasses? when that happens? <G> If you care to document it if you happen to know what you did the next time it happens, I can ask our developers to take a look at it.

NEXT UPCOMING BROADCAST
In conjunction with unveiling of EE Times’ Silicon 60 list, journalist & Silicon 60 researcher Peter Clarke hosts a conversation on startups in the electronics industry. One of Silicon Valley's great contributions to the world has been the demonstration of how the application of entrepreneurship and venture capital to electronics and semiconductor hardware can create wealth with developments in semiconductors, displays, design automation, MEMS and across the breadth of hardware developments. But in recent years concerns have been raised that traditional venture capital has turned its back on hardware-related startups in favor of software and Internet applications and services. Panelists from incubators join Peter Clarke in debate.
