I already had twitter and LinkedIn info in the system, so it liked me. What if you don't have them? Are you stuck?

Yes, but I'd say the bigger UI differentiator is their strong embrace of the touchscreen, not the 1-knob issue!

R&S scopes differ from competitor's scopes in one crucial way: the user interface. That is, others have kept dedicated knobs for vertical sensitivity. R&S uses a single know with color-coded rig around it to indicate which channel is in use. Does that work for you or do you prefer dedicated V/div knobs?

Just about everyone has logic inputs on their scopes and have for years. Mixed-signal scopes keep gaining in poularity for debugging embedded systems.

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems.
