Interesting FACTS: This crash is the fifth major LAUNCH failure of a Proton-M rocket since 2010. The program was grounded by the Russians just last December and restarted only as recently as March, since which they had successfully launched THREE Proton-M rockets before this launch failure. That's roughly one launch per month; seems like a program in a hurry. What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
