All I need is lots of candy. 900 pieces this year. We bought 750 last year and ran out.

which also doesn't lend itself to beautiful models,it did take some ingenuity to get their attention. that is exactly how it felt! The annual Halloween festival is coming. Have you prepared for the crazy night party? As an essential prop, you should prepare a mask, costume, or a scary gadget. If your prop is special enough, you might be the most outstanding one. For surprising scary Halloween decorations, come to Toyswill. Here we have rich supplies.

I shose my engineering college based on the school that didn't require me to take freshman English. Look what I ended up doing for a living. Go figure.

"Well, it was a coin toss between mechanical and electrical. Yes, I decided my future degree with a coin toss :)"

ME's are OK. It was the students who started in engineering and switched to business, something they could pass. Most of them probably make more money than we do.

Yes, I guess technically, I was a regulatory "gatekeeper", however, in the HP/Agilent culture, playing "cop", did not get you very far. It was all about making the right business decisions while striving to meet the regulatory requirements.

I'm sure if I go through my 20 years of print copies of T&M World, I'll find a few attempts. One that comes to mind was "req out" where there was a photo of some guy with blue spiked hair.

Nice instrument, Raj.

Kenneth, you were just one of many cops that designers have to appease. There are the component cops, manufacturing cops, purchasing cops, HR cops, and so on.

How to make test equipment entertaining/engaging

Hello,

Nice article! Very fun to read.

I was thinking about the comment that it is hard to use sex, alcohol or animals in presenting test equipment in an engaging way. What about humor, emphasizing reliability? FedEx offers a delivery service, which also doesn't lend itself to beautiful models, or Corona beers on a beach. But they consistently make me laugh, and I must admit, I tend to use FedEx more than UPS.

Why not a similar approach for test equipment?

Yours,

Raj
