Thanks for your kind words and readership of Xcell. We stopped printing the issue over a year ago, but the content is available in Digital Magazine format (iPad/iPhone compatible) as well as one-click pdf. Our landing page is http://www.xilinx.com/publications/xcellonline/index.htm

We've had a lot of Zynq content in the last few issues, so if you missed the last few, click on the "Past Issues" tab, which contains every issue of Xcell back to it's first issue in 1988.

Thank you for sharing. I am pretty much interested in learning about the Zync SoC. Earlier I was registered to receive the Xcell journal...but in the last couple of years it has stopped. Is this not free anymore?

As data rates begin to move beyond 25 Gbps channels, new problems arise. Getting to 50 Gbps channels might not be possible with the traditional NRZ (2-level) signaling. PAM4 lets data rates double with only a small increase in channel bandwidth by sending two bits per symbol. But, it brings new measurement and analysis problems. Signal integrity sage Ransom Stephens will explain how PAM4 differs from NRZ and what to expect in design, measurement, and signal analysis.
