Yeah, the Lapdock is cool, but I tried to pick a few things that sparked the imagination. With hundreds and hundreds of projects, it is a bit difficult to pick. There are so many I "wish" I picked, but you just have to go with something. I think the ones chosen were somewhat more imaginative than an inexpensive laptop, which turns out to be something rather easy to create out of a BeagleBone Black using the Lapdock.

wow, that is really cool. I think I may need to get my hands on a beaglebone to play with. I haven't had a chance yet.

The Motorola Atrix Lapdock is often used with Raspberry Pi.  Here's the Lapdock section of the RasPi Hardware Wiki, which summarizes how the HDMI and USB connections work and has links to many useful Lapdock pages.

@Patk0317, I am a bit dissappointed that the MOT ATRIX interface wasn't included.

Is there a good link you can point us to for more detailed examples about how BeagleBoard is used in Atrix interface? Any details are appreciated. Thanks again.

Really a Very Remarkable Stepping Stone by TI

BeagleBoard is really a very much remarkable stepping stone in the field of embedded system for the entire electronics community by TI. As the embedded technology evolves it will not be a single person's ability and task to make the board design working and developing the drivers, and this kind of open source development boards are helping a lot. Thanks for the design to all who have participated in the design and development of the board and community.

Let's reach out to the planning team and recommend it - and also, EET community, please chime in here if you would like to create an ARM-based halloween costume for ARM TechCon.

Actually, I could easily incorporate an ARM processor into a costume. You may be onto something here!
